Lew's Custom TLX Casting Reel

The Lew's Custom TLX Casting Reel packs 150-size line capacity into an extremely compact baitcaster made for anglers who need strength, control, and corrosion resistance. Its one-piece aluminum frame supports gear alignment under load, while the deep knurled aluminum spool adds line capacity, helps reduce braided line slippage, and minimizes water entry with no spool porting. ParaMag RX braking gives anglers reliable cast control with jigs, swimbaits, spinnerbaits, topwaters, and inshore presentations, while C45 Carbon side plates and a C45 Carbon drag star help keep the reel light and responsive.

A machined aluminum drive gear and P2 Super Pinion supported pinion gear promote long gear life, and the 7.5:1 gear ratio gives anglers quick pickup for covering water, picking up slack, and moving fish away from cover. Anti-rust stainless steel double-shielded ball bearings and corrosion-treated metal parts help the reel handle harsh conditions around brackish water, saltwater, and wet boat decks. A carbon fiber drag system provides steady pressure, while EVA/cork hybrid knobs add a non-slip grip with moisture and corrosion resistance. The Speed Keeper retractable bait keeper keeps lures secure between casts without damaging rod blanks.
